Updated Intake Process
The first step when applying for our singles stream is registering for an information session, once you attend one of these, you will be able to apply for a place at Foyer Oxford. Information Sessions are designed to give you an idea about what it’s like at Foyer, and what you need to be doing to be eligible to move in.
On the first Monday of every month (if Monday is a public holiday, we will open on the Tuesday), we open for people to register for an information session. These sessions are capped for singles and young parents, so we recommend getting your registration in early. Registrations close once capacity is reached or before the first session, whichever comes first.
Once you register, we will invite you to choose between two information sessions, held on a Monday and a Thursday. You will be sent dates to choose from following registration. If you are unable to attend either of these, please give us a call on 1800 185 685.
Once you have attended an information session, you will be able to submit an application!
It’s pretty competitive to get a place at Foyer Oxford and there are some hoops to jump through.
These are the steps you need to follow:
1 Register for an info session

2 Attend an info session
Attend our information sessions held on the third Monday and fourth Thursday of each month.
These are an opportunity for you to explore what it is like to live at Foyer Oxford and decide if the 'Foyer Deal' suits you.
3 Complete an application form
Following an information session, if you meet the eligibility criteria and feel that Foyer Oxford is the right fit for you, you will be invited to complete an application.
If you have attended an information session within the past 12 months and would like to apply, please contact us and we can send an application through to you.
4 Interview
Participate in an interview with one of our case managers to assess your eligibility and readiness for living at Foyer.
5 Decision
We will inform you if you have been accepted into the application pool and provide details on when you can move in.
If you are not accepted into the application pool don’t worry, we will provide you with some guidance for how you can be Foyer ready.
6 Wait for a vacancy
We will let you know when a vacancy comes up and you can move in!
