Young Parents Application
Updated Intake Process
On the first Monday of every month, we open for young parents to apply; this is capped, so we recommend getting your application in early, applications will close once capacity is reached. If the first Monday of the month is a public holiday, we will open on the Tuesday.
Once you apply, you will be contacted individually for a one-on-one information session with a case manager. Information Sessions are designed to give you an idea about what it’s like at Foyer, and what you need to be doing to be eligible to move in.
Spots at Foyer Oxford are limited and there are a few steps involved. We will do our best to support you at each step so it feels clear and manageable.
As a young parent, these are the steps you need to follow:
1 FILL IN AN APPLICATION
On the first Monday of the month, young parents' application opens; this is capped at 6 young parents, and applications will close once capacity is reached. If the first Monday of the month is a public holiday, we will open on the Tuesday.
Fill in this form, call 1800 185 685 or email hello@foyeroxford.org.au to discuss your eligibility. We will contact you to invite you to an information session. Once capacity has been reached, you won't be able to complete the form.
2 Attend an info and interview session
Participate in a one-on-one information session and assessment with one of our case manager who can assess your eligibility and readiness for living at Foyer.
3 Decision
We will inform you if you have been accepted into the application pool and provide details on when you can move in. If you are not accepted into the application pool don’t worry, we will provide you with some guidance for how you can be Foyer ready.
4 Wait for
a vacancy
We will let you know when a vacancy comes up and you can move in!
